Climate and Environment Delegate
Robert served as Vice President of Queens’ University Belfast Students’ Union where he studied for a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. In 2019 he was elected President of National Union of Students – Union of Students Ireland (NUS-USI, the student movement for NI). In this role Robert campaigned against an increase in tuition fees, for NI students to continue to access the Erasmus programme post UK exit from the EU and for financial support to students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Robert was fortunate to have been selected to be a participant in the Washington Ireland Program Class of 2017 where he interned in the office of then Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer. He currently works as Communications and Campaigns Organiser for Nautilus International, the union for maritime professionals.
Robert is an avid sports fan, supporting Manchester United and a lesser-known German team FC St. Pauli.
Robert is excited to meet and work with other delegates to learn more about the challenges facing other G7 countries in tackling the climate crisis. Robert is keen to ensure the G7 countries can live up to their ideals and lead on tackling the climate crisis by committing to a transition away from fossil fuels that is democratic, just and equitable for everyone.

Molly leads Public Affairs for the Sport and Recreation Alliance, the UK’s independent representative body for grassroot sport - combining her interest in politics and public health with her passion for sport and its power to change lives and communities, she works with politicians and officials to maximise the positive economic, societal, and public health outcomes achieved through physical activity.
Previously, Molly worked in the youth sector promoting young people’s engagement in politics and democracy, and then for NHS England’s national team, supporting the current transition to a health system which is place-based, community driven, and gives people more choice and control over how their healthcare needs are met and delivered, based on ‘what matters’ to them. She is a University College London (UCL) graduate, holding a degree in European Social and Political Studies and an Honorary Life Membership for services to the university as a student and union officer, and to her hockey club.
Molly spent her childhood in France, some time teaching sailing in the US and studying in Germany, and now lives in London - she is also a youth coach working in schools, and plays hockey and badminton.
As the UK's Y7 Global Health delegate, she looks forward to working with colleagues from across the G7 to ensure youth voice is heard and understood when shaping the future of health worldwide and nationally. She is also excited to have an excuse to speak French and German again!
