LAST UPDATED: MARCH 2022

We, Future Leaders Network Limited, registered in England and Wales with company number 12144242, whose registered office is at 18 St. Cross Street (4th Floor), London, EC1N 8UN  (“Future Leaders Network”, "FLN" “we” or “us”), would ask that you take the time to read these Events Terms and Conditions carefully. They explain a number of things related to your booking requests for our events, including how Event bookings can be made, amended and cancelled, as well as other information regarding your rights.

By submitting a booking form or purchasing a ticket to one of our events, you’ll be confirming that you have read and understood and agree to these Events Terms and Conditions.

These Events Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with our website Terms and Conditions, Disclaimer, Cookies Policy and Privacy Policy.

These Events Terms and Conditions may change from time to time and, if they do, the up-to-date version will always be available on the site. We will indicate at the top of these Terms and Conditions when they were last updated.

Please ensure that you check these Terms and Conditions regularly to view any changes which may have been made, because by attending our events and making future bookings, after these Events Terms and Conditions have changed, you will be confirming that you have read and understood, and agreed to be bound by, any revised Events Terms and Conditions.

To help you navigate these Terms and Conditions, here are definitions of some of the phrases we use throughout:

“Event” means the event delivered or co-delivered by Future Leaders Network, for which you are making a booking request;

“Booking Form” means a booking form for an Event, which may be located on our website, on the website of one of our delivery partners, or on a 3rd party platform (such as Eventbrite);

“Event fee” means the fee payable by you to us, in exchange for access to the Event;

“Event date” means the date and start time of the Event, as indicated by us;

“Event co-host” means an individual or entity that has partnered with us in order to deliver the Event for you.

your BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Your place at an Event is only guaranteed when:

(a) you complete a Booking Form;

(b) payment of the Event fee (where applicable) is received; and

(c) you receive a confirmation email from us.

The Event fee (where applicable) must be paid in full at the time of booking.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you provide to us in your Booking Form is complete and accurate.

We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion and without the need to give reasons, to refuse to accept a booking. In such circumstances, no agreement arises and we will return any payment accompanying the booking within fourteen days.

CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING by you

If you find you are not able to attend the Event after your booking has been confirmed, please notify us of your withdrawal via email as soon as possible at events@futureleaders.network.

Tickets may not be transferred to another Event, or to another individual/entity once purchased.

Under no circumstances will we reimburse you for any expenses you have incurred in making arrangements to attend the Event.

Refundable Events

If you withdraw (for any reason) from an Event (by emailing us at events@futureleaders.network) for which the Event fee is refundable (a “Refundable Event”) more than 48 hours before the Event date (except for withdrawals due to COVID-19), we will be happy to offer you a full refund of the Event fee (minus any fees associated with the ticketing platform we use).

If you withdraw (for any reason) from an Event (by emailing us at events@futureleaders.network) for which the Event fee is refundable (a “Refundable Event”) less than 48 hours before the Event date (except for withdrawals due to COVID-19), then you will not be entitled to a refund of any part of the Event fee.

Withdrawals from Refundable Events will not be refunded under any circumstance if you do not notify us of your intention to withdraw (by emailing us at events@futureleaders.network).

Non-Refundable Events

If you withdraw (for any reason) from an Event (including an online Event, but excluding withdrawals due to COVID-19) for which the Event fee is non-refundable (a “Non-Refundable Event”), we will not refund the Event fee.

Withdrawals due to COVID-19

If you withdraw from your place at any Event less than five days before the Event date because:

(i) you have received a positive COVID-19 PCR test; or

(ii) you are required by other mandatory government requirements to self-isolate;

we will (subject always, to receiving proof of a positive COVID-19 PCR test, dated no more than 5 days before the Event date):

  1. offer to amend your booking to a similar virtual Event;

  2. offer to amend your booking to the next available in-person Event; or

  3. if there is no suitable substitute Event, refund the full Event fee.
