Introduction
Effective leaders are inspirational, empathetic and creative. They shift opinion, change minds and motivate all around them in aid of their cause. A true leader nurtures their followers and supports them to realise their own personal ambitions, as well as fulfilling the goals of the cause. Yet effective leaders are hard to find, and it’s not hard to see why. There is minimal opportunity for potential leaders to hone their craft outside of the corporate world and a lack of willing and effective mentors is inhibiting the transfer of knowledge and experience between generations. Therefore, a potential leader often has to learn on the job and make their mistakes in public – this is less than ideal, given the importance of effective leadership in all parts of society. Exhibiting successful leadership is also becoming more and more challenging in an age of information overload and constantly shifting priorities. On top of this, outdated notions of leadership can attract a significant amount of negative bias, whether on the grounds of gender, race or otherwise.
Future Leaders Network
Future Leaders Network seeks to enable the next generation of young leaders who strive to affect positive social, political and economic change. We do this through providing cutting edge leadership training, mentorship, networking and personal development opportunities to our members. We support our members to develop their leadership traits and we give them the opportunity to practice their new skills and techniques. Each year, for example, we recruit teams of exceptional young people to represent their country at the Y7 and Y20 Summits – the youth engagement groups of the G7 and G20 respectively.
Are you passionate about youth leadership? Do you have a track record of motivating teams of volunteers and leading them in aid of a cause? Have you got experience of working with not-for-profits and delivering meaningful impacts in your community?

Preference will be given to those who also have experience and skills in Digital Marketing and Brand Design.
