Panel: Youth Diplomacy in a Changing World

FLN and Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (London) are organising a panel discussion gathering former UK youth delegates who attended the G7 and G20 summits. They will discuss the role, impact, opportunities and challenges for youth diplomacy in a changing world.

Loshini Suben, Folu Ogunyeye and Theo Harris will share experiences of championing youth interests, as well as of negotiating, structuring and co-authoring joint policy statements in multilateral discussions. With the US election soon to be concluded, they will also reflect how world events, geopolitical volatility and slowing globalisation have shaped the tone of deliberations, the substance of agreements and the relationships with counterparts.
