Youth unemployment is a key concern for students, families, politicians and businesses. Additionally, Brexit, the shift toward a ‘gig’ economy, climate change and emerging technology are all powerful forces changing the landscape of work for young people. What would be the one thing you would ask world leaders to do to improve the prospects of young people in this new world of work? This is your chance to come together and propose an answer.
You’ll get the chance to meet a huge range of diverse, talented and ambitious young people, to discuss one of the most important topics facing our generation.
We have a limited number of spaces for the roundtable, and we are keen to ensure we have a diverse, representative and fascinating panel of views attending.
The Future of Work is a key policy area for this year’s upcoming Youth Summits, and this roundtable will also serve to inform this year’s delegations policy position papers. This will be an opportunity to meet this year’s Y20 and Y7 UK delegates and play a role in informing the UK policy positions.
Interested in attending a summit, but want to know more on what they’re about? Then come along to our perfectly timed roundtable. Members of the Future Leaders Network will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the application process.
