Future Leaders Network cordially invite you to meet and eat with the Bank of England's Agent for Greater London, Peter Andrews.
Our 'Meet and Eat' series is a great way for members to get involved in our policy development process, as we ask our host for the evening to facilitate a debate between members on a topic pertinent to young people. It's also a great opportunity to meet other members of the network! The evening should be an informal, relaxed affair, with the emphasis on debate and discussion, rather than formal outcomes. Participants shouldn't feel as though they have to contribute to the debate in order to attend, a watching brief is absolutely fine!
Our host for this 'Meet & Eat' is Peter Andrews, Agent, Greater London for the Bank of England.
Peter joined the Bank in 1979. He served in the Economics and International Divisions, and completed a DPhil in Economics from Oxford University, before being seconded to the IMF in 1990 as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. On returning in 1992 he worked in the Gilt-Edged and Money Markets Division, and was Head of Division (1997-2000). From 2000-06 he was Head of Monetary Assessment and Strategy Division. He became Agent for Greater London in 2007.
Our discussion for the evening will be led by you, our members. Please come prepared with your thoughts on the key challenges facing young people and of course, questions for Mr Andrews.
Your ticket includes a hot buffet, which will be served at 7pm promptly, so please arrive on time!
