Applications are now closed.

We welcome applications from young people from all parts of the U.K., and from all backgrounds. We want FLN’s delegates to COP26 to be representative of the full diversity of U.K. youth.

Diversity data is collected for equality monitoring purposes only.

Throughout this application, you should feel free to bring evidence from all parts of your life - personal, professional, voluntary etc. There is no 'right answer' - all we're looking for is evidence against each of the Essential Criteria, which can come from any sector or any experience you have had.

In your application, you should refer to the Essential Criteria set out in the Delegate Role Description and aim to give as much evidence as possible for these throughout.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Candidates who are successful at the written stage will be invited for an interview in w/c 11 October. All candidates will be informed of the outcome of their decision in w/c 18 October.

To be eligible to apply, you must: - be aged 18 - 30 by 10 October 2021 - be ordinarily be resident in the U.K. (e.g. you must live in the U.K.) - be available to travel to Glasgow for either Week 1 (31 October - 6 November) or Week 2 (7 November - 12 November) of COP26 - be able to cover all costs associated with COP26 (e.g. travel, accommodation and subsistence).

Covid-19 Vaccination status

The U.K. Government strongly recommends that all delegates are vaccinated against Covid-19. The U.K. Government will accept all WHO approved vaccines. Please inform us of your vaccination status.

Agreement to abide by Covid-19 guidance

To ensure COP26 is delivered safely and securely, the U.K. Government has issued a number of rules. In summary, these are: - everyone must be able to show evidence of pre-arrival COVID-19 negative test result - everyone must complete a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) - everyone must participate in the COP26 daily test programme - anyone who has been in a red-list country or territory in the 10 days immediately prior to arrival into England or Scotland (see current list) must undergo Managed Quarantine at port of entry. Delegates that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must quarantine for 5 days. Unvaccinated delegates must quarantine for 10 days. Please confirm you will abide by the U.K. Government's Covid-19 guidance and advice, including any further guidance issued subsequent to your selection.
