Future Leaders Network cordially invites you to a drinks and networking reception, kindly hosted by Virgin Money at their new Haymarket Lounge in Central London.
Our regular networking events are a great way to meet other members of the network in a relaxed and informal setting. We also hope that by coming along, you’ll learn a little something, to help you with your ultimate goal of attaining a position of leadership.
With that in mind, our theme for this month is “How to affect change through entrepreneurship”. We’ll hear from entrepreneurs who have started a business as a vehicle to affect change and find out how they went about it, the challenges they have faced along the way and what their plans for the future are.
Starting a business provides one of the few platforms from which you can affect change that has a relatively low barrier to entry; you don’t need a long career and to have gathered plenty of experience, you don’t need to win a mandate from the electorate and you don’t need to win the backing of others in order to pursue your goals. Entrepreneurship is about affecting change directly with your actions – the results are immediate and tangible.
So join us for this drinks reception to find out more from those that have recently done this, learn from their experience and work out whether starting a business to affect change is something for you.

This, alongside her belief that the energy of music could be used not just for enjoyment but for practical help and education, has led her to develop the world’s first clean energy-generating musical instrument, Spark. Spark is being delivered to off-grid areas in Africa & India and Sudha is dedicated to the mission of delivering clean energy to some of the 1.2 billion people living without electricity.
