Inaya Islam

Technological Disruptions Delegate

Inaya’s career is driven by the belief that technological disruption should be an engine for equity, not a driver of division. Having navigated a non-traditional path through a Degree Apprenticeship in Digital and Technology Solutions with a focus in Data Science, Inaya bridges the gap between deep technical expertise and the future of work in the current economy. Today, she operates at the intersection of data and commercial strategy at DOJO Tech, a leading UK based international Financial Technology company. In her role she leads high impact insights, analytics and predictions across international markets for senior stakeholders such as Country Managers. Her professional journey from apprentice to specialist gives her a unique, frontline perspective on how digital transformation reshapes industries and careers.

Inaya has been engaging with industry leaders since the age of 18 as a public speaker at the Royal Institution. Her ability to drive innovation from concept to execution is evidenced by her success leading and winning multiple hackathons for example at Imperial College London x Action for Humanity. There, she served as a Project Manager for sustainability focused technology and housing solutions that have since been implemented by the charity to support refugees in Syria. As the UK’s Y7 Delegate for Technological Disruption, Inaya represents the voice of a generation navigating rapid technological change. She is a staunch advocate for human centric AI governance, ethical automation, and the expansion of accessible STEM pathways, ensuring that emerging technologies act as a force for inclusive growth and global opportunity. She is honoured to serve as a voice for UK youth, ensuring their perspectives shape the global conversation on the ethical and equitable future of technology.
